Facing MS and Rediscovered Myself

There are times in life when everything seems so blurry and fast-paced. When you “realize” you need to somehow get out of that period, you’re surprised by how much time has passed. The simple mistakes you’ve made along the way. You will realise that you need to rediscovered yourself!

—–We tried to imagine with Chat GPT and Dall-E, couldn’t write it exactly but that’s okay :)—–

I’m in such a period right now. I realize. Actually, I’m trying to frantically gather myself back together before confronting my health issues. I need to rediscovered myself

I have MS, and I’ve been in this battle since 2013. Before MS, I never cared for healthy eating or exercise. And I remember calling those who did, “Oh, how self-absorbed and snobbish they are.” Of course, that changed quickly after MS, I started to rediscovered myself at the beginning. It turns out maybe they were the smart ones. I’m not being ironic here; I’m serious. The investment should have been in ourselves first. The realization came quite late…

I will not list my mistakes here, dear diary, but know that these mistakes will be corrected! (Imagine I’ve drawn a bunch of lines under this sentence with my purple glittery pen.)

I remind myself that rapid weight loss due to MS is not advised and considered dangerous, so even the tiny changes I’m planning to make are a victory, and today, “starting Sunday,” I begin the process.

I’ve realized that you don’t start these things on Monday; Mondays have been failures for years. So, let’s begin on Sunday!

I want to delve into those “blurry periods” I mentioned at the beginning of the article. I will rediscovered myself all over again.

Regardless of how they start, those periods exist. I believe it’s a success to try to get out of these processes that everyone goes through from time to time. From the healthiest to the wealthiest.

Life’s offerings, sudden issues, deaths, travels, breaking the routine, etc., mess us up. This pushes us into blurry periods.

Sure, step out of your “comfort zone,” rediscovered yourself, but I wish you step out for something good. I’ll step out of my “comfort zone” for something good, and what is that good thing? Healthy living. How will this be? By “applying” what we all know by heart this time…

Checking my vitamins including Vitamin D and taking supplements, taking the clean eating I already practice more seriously, adding exercise to my life without competing with anyone, choosing a more active life, etc…

They actually call those blurry periods Fatigue; it’s hard to read already. Experiencing it and trying to get out of it, realizing it, is another challenge. I always use a phrase for myself and also when talking with friends, “You’ve realized it and want to get out of the situation, congratulations! You’ve passed halfway, and the hardest part!”

This is not only for fatigue but for any sad situation. A hole you’ve fallen into (those who read previous articles will understand). Whenever you need help, need to get your act together, or whatever negative thing comes to mind in your life. The moment you realize you don’t want it and start looking for a way out,

I love monologuing

Also, I love telling my monologues to John (I have an audience, why not tell :D). He realized that I achieve my problems and overcome them through my monologues.

I can’t sit down to write with a plan, for example. There’s a bothersome topic on my mind; it naturally turns into words. Sometimes, I change the order of paragraphs while writing. Sometimes I write-delete-write something better or continue writing on it. Thinking I’ll address this topic later, and that paragraph stretches all the way down. I will rediscovered that topic in every sentence.

But in the end, I understand that Fatigue can be overcome by writing. I don’t let the words explode inside me. It doesn’t make my situation any better and continues to poke me like a cranky child with a stick standing at the center of my life.

Of course, I’m not saying “overcome it by writing”. If you feel the need, don’t hesitate to seek psychological support and definitely find someone for support in this regard. Nowadays, finding a psychologist is not considered a shame as it used to be. It has literally become a part of life. Let go of old thoughts and definitely find someone if you feel the need to express yourself well and understand.

I hope you can quickly get out of these blurry periods and joyfully reach your goals.

Have your coffee by your side, your goals in front of you, clear and sparkling. May every step bring you closer to them and may they happen at the time you planned! But may life never dissuade you from setting new goals.

(It should have been the cover of my poetry book Outside My Window. Which I published years ago. 😀 John’s comment: “This would be the cover of your new poetry book.” I’m shocked. It’s been years since I wrote poetry… Well then, New Challenge Uploading….)
