When living with MS, the challenges can often feel overwhelming, especially when stress levels rise and you realize there’s no escape from the symptoms. This constant battle with stress, compounded by the unpredictable nature of Multiple Sclerosis, can make it difficult to maintain a sense of normalcy. However, it’s crucial to recognize that while MS may bring chaos, you have the power to manage it and turn that chaos into harmony. Like a carefully composed piece of music, when stress is well-managed, it becomes part of the rhythm of life rather than a source of disorder.

(more…)Years ago, I went for a “copywriting” job interview at a travel agency. It might have been around 2012, long before MS entered my life. They asked me to write a text on a given topic, providing examples and saying, “Let’s see what you can write.”
Inflammation is considered one of the underlying factors for many chronic diseases. Fight Chronic Inflammation, has an excessive and persistent state of the body’s defense mechanism, can damage tissues over time. However, inflammation can be managed, and lifestyle changes and proper nutrition habits support the body’s natural healing process. (more…)Last week, as those who follow me on social media will have seen, we lost my grandmother. We sent her to join my grandfather after a fulfilling life of 96 years. While this mourning was undoubtedly a sorrowful process, for us Mevlevis, it is referred to as Seb-i Arus, which means the night of union with God or the Wedding Day.
(more…)I have try to overcome this state of being locked up that I’ve named “Importance Lock.” I don’t think it’s unique to me, so I wanted to share it. 🙂
Because of the value I place on the notebook, an “Importance Lock” forms, and while those pristine pages wait for my brand-new projects, I can’t bring myself to open it and jot down a few words, draw my plan diagrams or create my lists.
